Martha Evans

Martha L. “Marty” Evans, 91, of Middletown, died on September 25, 2003, at McKnight Terrace. She was born in Morgan Township, on February 23, 1912 to parents Allen E. and Ana (Daniel) Evans.

Miss Evans was a graduate of Miami University.
She taught kindergarden for 40 years, retiring from the Middletown School System in 1973.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Retired Teachers Assoc., Women´s Teacher Club, University Club, Middletown Business & Professional Women and United Methodist Women.

Marty was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Quinlan, and nephew, David Gene Quinlan.

She is survived by nephew, W. Glenn ( Nancy) Quinlan of Englewood, OH; niece, Roberta Renck of Okeana, OH, other nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews and great-great-great nieces & nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 29, 2003 at 1 :00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend David Chivington officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2003 from 2-5 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Drive. Interment will be at New London Cemetery in Shandon, OH.
