Martha J. Finkbone

Martha J. Finkbone, 87, of Middletown, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on May 31, 1918 to parents Benjamin and Olive Ruth (Swearingen) Finkbone.

Martha graduated from Miami University in 1940 and worked in human resources for Armco Steel-Construction Products Division, retiring in 1982 after 41 years of service. She was a member of Wildwood Golf Club.

Miss Finkbone is survived by her nephews, Robert A. Curry Jr. of Pittsford, NY, Fred E. Hall III and Ben F. Hall, both of Sarasota, FL; niece, Mary Martha Hall of Houston, TX; great nephew, Cameron S. Hall and great niece, Megan H. Hall, both of Sarasota, FL, and great niece, Kimberly C. Curry of Pittsford, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Jean F. Curry and Frances F. Hall.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Reverend Laurence T. Doty officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor´s choice.
