Martha Strohman

Martha Strohman, 92, of Middletown, died Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Otterbein at Middletown. She was born in Middletown on August 24, 1924 to parents Dan and Mary (Hall) Cummings.

Martha was devoted to having a loving home for her family. She was very supportive of her children, having served as a Girl Scout Leader, and was the caregiver for her mother. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish, as well as being a member of the Armco Girls Association and the Fenwick Band Boosters.

Mrs. Strohman is survived by her children, Jane (John) Donohue, Joan (Dan) Honsa & John (Noreen) Strohman; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Strohman; parents; and sister, Marilyn Douglass.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father Stephen Lattner, OSB as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
