Martha T. Moon

Martha T. Moon, 88, of Middletown, died Monday, November 3, 2014, at her home. She was born in Middletown on July 3, 1926 to parents Andrew and Helen (Timko) Spisak.

Martha had worked as a legal secretary for Casper & Casper for 10 years and then devoted her time to raising her family. She was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church. Martha always enjoyed her Tuesday Morning Coffee Club and the Middletown High School Class of 1943 Luncheons that were held each month.

Mrs. Moon is survived by her son, Mark (Teresa) Moon; daughter, Vicki (Wayne) Hall; and grandchildren, Allison Moon & Kyle Moon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin L. Moon; parents; and sisters & brothers, Maggie Spisak, Agnes Spisak, Mary Spisak, Margaret Gough, Anna Butts, Irene Angel, Rose Wroda, Andrew Spisak Sanders, Thomas Spisak, Helen Arroynos & Ida Gerber.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
