Marvin E. Dearth, 67, of Lebanon, died Friday March 23, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 26, 1939 in Middletown to parents Leroy and Edna (Yenser) Dearth Sr.
Marvin worked at Inland Container for over 25 years as a shipping supervisor, he was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife Betty (Snelling) Dearth, two sons; Jay (Linda) Dearth, Jeffrey (Tammy) Dearth, sisters; Betty Burke, Geraldine Basford, and Carol Turner, brothers Leroy Dearth Jr., Theodore Dearth, five grandchildren; Jackie Dearth, Rachel Dearth, Jon Dearth, Stephanie (James) Hollister, Jay Dearth Jr., and three great grandchildren; Cody, Caleb, and Jamie Hollister.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Robert Dearth.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke for her many years of care.
Funeral services will be Tuesday March 27th at 10:00 AM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Rev. Lisa Ellison.
Visitation will be Monday March 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lebanon-Otterbein benevolent care fund in memory of Marvin E. Dearth 580 N. St. Rt. 741 Lebanon, OH 45036.
