Marvin Norton, 88, of Middletown, died Monday, September 19, 2016, at home. He was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on May 5, 1928 to parents Everett and Goldie (Joyce) Norton.

Marvin worked at Middletown Tube Works in the maintenance department, retiring in 2007. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. Norton is survived by his children, Amy R. (Jeff) Snell, James E. Cope Jr. & Jenny Lynn Deck; sisters, Shirley Burt & Maryann Ruthenbergs; grandchildren, Destiny Thompson, James E. Cope III, Cody Adkins & Kimberly Adkins; and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Sugg (McGill) Norton; parents and several brothers & sisters.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Woodside Cemetery Chapel, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Gary Ashley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the chapel. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
