Mary A. Roberts

Mary A. “Granny” Roberts, 92, of Waynesville, died on November 6, 2006, at Quaker Heights Care Community. She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on February 1, 1914 to parents William and Florence (Craig) Pergram.

Mrs. Roberts worked in food services at Armco Steel and also cooked at The Meadows Restaurant. She was a member of The Church at Mayfield.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by one daughter: Barb (Jim) Williams of Kettering; daughter-in-law, Kristi Roberts of Middletown; five grandchildren, Kirk (Sandy) Williams of Waynesville, Kim (Jeff) South of Monroe, Paula (Danny) Buntin of Muncie, IN, Kent (Lorraine) Williams of Monroe, and Gregory (Debbie) Roberts of Middletown. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Roberts, son, Benny Roberts, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt at Bonita Dr. with Pastor Rick Woodward officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
