Mary Ann Dearth, 79, of Middletown, died Sunday, September 27, 2015, at her home. She was born in Middletown on November 27, 1935 to parents Frank and Victoria (Guzy) Frey.
Mary Ann graduated from Fenwick High School and attended Marian College in Indiana. She worked for the City of Middletown in the Economic Development Department for over 20 years and was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Mrs. Dearth is survived by her husband, Ted Dearth; four children, Patrick (Sue Steinbrock) Smith, Deborah Dunfee, Karen (Kevin) Campbell & Kathleen (Daron) Binkley; two brothers, John (Catherine) Frey & Jerome Frey; and three grandchildren, Madeline Dunfee, Harriet Smith & Simon Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Esther Stoehr & Audrey Frey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
