Mary Anna “Annie” Kittel, 90, of Middletown, died Friday, November 4, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on November 8, 1914 to Cyprian and Maria (Moraviczky) Klamo.
Mrs. Kittel was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John´s Church, the Alter Rosary Society, and the Ladies Society at Holy Family. She worked as a medical assistant in Dr. Zoelling´s office for 25 years, retiring in 1987.
Mary Anna is survived by her two sons, David J. Kittel , and John T. (Paula) Kittel both of Middletown; one daughter, Mary T. (Douglas) Cox of Sioux Falls, SD; one sister, Betty Gibson of Vandalia; one brother, Frank Klamo of Fairfield; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert J. Kittel in 1970; her parents; 4 brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church. Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
