Mary Eileen Hockaden, 87, of Monroe, died on December 4, 2004, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Otway, Ohio on August 2, 1917 to parents Alton and Melissa (Kirchner) Snook.
Mrs. Hockaden had been a resident of Middletown since 1966. Prior to living here, she was a resident of Cincinnati for 25 years.
Mrs. Hockaden is survived by one son, David Hockaden of Louisville, KY; three granddaughters, Tami (Mark) Joyner of Louisville, KY, Keli McIntire of Lexington, KY, and Ami Haun of Louisville, KY; five great grandchildren, Jake, Allie Grace, Hunter, Davis, & Conner; and one brother, Donald “Bud” Snook, Portsmouth, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hockaden in 1995; and her parents.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 11:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, with Chaplain Stan Gockel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
