Mary Ellen Easterling

Mary Ellen Easterling, 85, formerly of Middletown, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at The Knolls of Oxford. She was born in Trenton, on December 10, 1920 to parents Robert and Mary (Wolverton) Wilkinson.

Mrs. Easterling worked for Middletown Public Library and was a supervisor of Junior Volunteers at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was an active member of St. Paul´s United Church of Christ.

Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, Robert Easterling; two daughters, Cathy (Don) Lau of Hamilton and Debbie (Steve) Bell of Reading, CA; two sons, Jan (Nancy) Easterling of Vonore, TN and Robert (Jennifer) Easterling of Centerville; two sisters, Helen Combs of Trenton and Charlotte Avery of Vonore, TN; one brother, Roger (Ruth) Wilkinson of Cape Coral, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, George, Donald, and Bob Wilkinson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013, Columbus, OH 43218-2039.
