Mary Ellen Mcintosh

Mary Ellen (Crowe) McIntosh, 69, of Wayne Township, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Middletown, on August 28, 1939 to parents Owsley and Margaret (Avery) Crowe.

Mary enjoyed being a part of her children's and grandchildren's activities and was a member of Yankee Road Church of God.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rexford McIntosh; sons, David (Angie) McIntosh and Darren (Amy) McIntosh; daughters, Brenda (Tom) Fleming and Rhonda Akemon; parents, Owsley and Margaret Crowe; brother, Jack (Debi) Crowe; sisters, Frances (Jim) Douglass and Shirley (Tim) Blanton; nine grandchildren, Holly Flynn, Jessica Kirby, Lisa Akemon, Angie Akemon, Kurtis McIntosh, Jillian McIntosh, Rocky McIntosh, Jacob McIntosh, and Madi McIntosh; four great grandchildren, Shelby, Diana, Austin & Avery; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Brown; and a grandson, William McIntosh.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Arnold McConnell and Reverend Dr. Eric Newell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
