Mary Ellen Pelfrey

Mary Ellen Pelfrey 87, of Kettering, died on Sunday, September 01, 2019 at Oak Creek Terrace Nusing and Rehab Center. She was born May 16, 1932 in Dayton, OH to Raymond and Pearl (Helterbran) Howard.

She worked for U.S. Government as a secretary/ administrative assistant.

Mary is survived by her daughter Cindy (Bob) Hess, grand children Sarah (Ben) Ausdenmoore,Tyler (Inna) Hess and Heather (Drew) Simon, great grand children Colin Simon and Melody Ausdenmoore,

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward Howard,

Visitation will be Thursday, September 05, 2019 from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM at Epiphany Lutheran Church in the outside pavillion 6430 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, OH.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 05, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany Lutheran Church in the outside pavillion 6430 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, OH 45459 with Rev. Jay Shailer officiating.

Burial will be at Bellbrook Cemetery.

She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and was an animal lover. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Greater Dayton Humane Society 1661 Nicholas Rd.Dayton, OH 45417.
