Mary G. Moore

Mary G. Moore, 86, of Middletown, died Saturday, October 02, 2004, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Scranton, PA, on April 14, 1918, to Joseph and Angela(Volpe) Amendola.

Mary is survived by three daughters: Geraldine Bontrager of Lebanon, Rita(Jeff) Ture of Oxford, and Jean(Mike) Combs of Middletown; five sons, James(Jackie) Moore of Cincinnati, Tom(Wanda) Moore of Atlanta, Georgia, Jesse(Susan) Moore of Tipp City, Joe Moore of Middletown, and Raymond(Roberta) Moore of Middletown; two brothers, Doc and Tony Amendola both of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Angie, Rita, and Anna Amendola; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie G Moore in 1975; one daughter, Eneida Gibson in 1976; her parents; a brother, Joseph Amendola; two sisters, Anna Amendola, and Marjorie Amendola; and a son-in-law, Dave Bontrager.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Parish – St. John’s Catholic Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
