Mary G. Piedel

Mary G. Piedel, 69, of Middletown, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown on September 27, 1935 to Charles and Mary (Albert) Monce.

Mary was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Sons of Italy and she played with multiple bridge clubs.

Mary is survived by, her husband, John J. Piedel; one daughter, Karen (Phil) Crowe of Middletown; three sons, Larry Piedel of Middletown, John (Susan) Piedel of Centerville, and Dan (Debbie) Piedel of Middletown; a sister, Delores Judd of Middletown; nine grandchildren, Greg, Alison, Shawn, Shannon, Emily, Alexander, Kaitlin, Stephen, & Monica; and one great grandson, A.J. .

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Sam & Leonard Monce.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 5, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
