Mary Jane Benoy

Mary Jane (Brown) Benoy, 68, of Monroe, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at her residence. She was born in Marion, Indiana on February 3, 1939.

Janie worked as a receptionist for Butler County Jobs & Family Services, retiring in 2004. She was a volunteer at Middletown Regional Hospital, a member of the Red Hat Society, member of the Homemaker Circle, was a Longaberger consultant, and was an usher at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Riley) Brown. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lynn Benoy of Monroe; two daughters, Debbie (David) Pelfrey of Columbus and Valerie (Dan) Simonson of North Bend; three grandchildren, Audrey Simonson, Ryan Pelfrey, and Jason Pelfrey; and many loving family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Dennis Betts officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
