Mary Reintjes Giltrow, 92, of Monroe died Saturday February 4, 2006 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Community. She was born in Middletown on December 23, 1913 to parents Pruitt and Elizabeth (Walls) Brown.
Mary retired after 33 years as a receptionist from McGraw Construction. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Delta Chi Sigma International Sorority, Elk’s Socialites, Salvation Army Auxiliary, the Senior Citizens Center, and she was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her sister Mabel Burcham of Middletown, nephew David Burcham of Hamilton, and many other nieces and nephews and loving family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Josef Reintjes, and Ken Giltrow, a sister Pearl Brown, and brothers Otto, James, William, and George Brown.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday February 7, 2006 at 10 AM at the Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Jones Thompson. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ 114 S. Broad St. Middletown, Ohio 45044 or charity of donor’s choice.
