Maryjune Voorhees

MaryJune Voorhees, 76, of Middletown, died Saturday, January 12, 2002, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born June 16, 1925 in Water Town, New York, to parents Edward & Cora (Murdock) Gibson. MaryJune worked in the dental field for 40 years, 25 of which she spent as an office manager in Dayton. She volunteered for several different organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Barbara LaPierre. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Bill Voorhees of Middletown, daughter Joadie (David) Carberry of Middletown, grandchildren Kelly, Candice, and Kaitlin Carberry of Middletown, and a niece Sherrine Wesley of Florida. A private memorial service was held Monday, January 14, 2002 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry VanHeyningen officiating.
