Maureen McGuire Johnson, 55, of Nashville, TN, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Middletown, OH on February 3, 1950 to Clifford P. and Betty A. (Merkt) McGuire.

She graduated from Fenwick High School in 1968 and attended Colorado State University. She worked for Caterpillar Financial in Phoenix, Arizona and was transferred to Nashville in 1995, where she was active in the Angel Tree and the United Way. She swam with autistic children and walked every year until 2004 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Maureen is survived by her daughter, Sarah Johnson and her son, Tyler Johnson of Nashville, TN; and her mother Betty A. McGuire of Middletown, OH.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford P. McGuire.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, 2005 from 6-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd.(at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be sent to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203 - OR – Charity of Donor´s Choice.
