Melva McClintic Lindsay, 92, of Monroe, died Friday, December 20, 2002 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown on February 23, 1910 to parents John Edward and May (Trautman) McClintic.
Melva worked as a receptionist for McDaniel & Associates for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she served as church secretary for 20 years. She was also a member of Middletown Senior Citizens.
Melva was preceded in death by her husband Norman Lee Lindsay in 1945; her parents; and a brother, Edward Ehlers McClintic.
She is survived by a stepson; a stepdaughter; and numerous stepgrandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Monday, December 23, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., with Reverend David Chivington and Reverend Stan Gockel officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 120 S. Broad St., Middletown, OH 45044.
