Melvin C. "Bus" Miller, 94, of Trenton, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at his home. He was born in N. Excello, Ohio on June 26, 1921 to parents Morris Lester and Mildred Margaret (Craig) Miller.
Bus had worked for Welfare Finance Corp for 28 years, becoming a supervisor for the company. He then worked for Armco Steel Corp in East Processing, retiring in 1986. He had served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr. Miller is survived by his son, Jeff (Jeri) Miller; daughters, Judy (Jerry) Abner & Diane (Larry) Sandlin; brother, Jesse (Janet) Miller; sister, Marilyn DePalma; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Miller; parents; brother, Wade Miller; sisters, Ruth Federle & Arlene Shrout; and grandson, Jerry Abner Jr..
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
