Melvin Hampton Carroll

Melvin Hampton “Face” Carroll, Jr., 67, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at home. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on May 26, 1951 to parents Melvin H. and Florence (Goodlett) Carroll Sr.

Melvin proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kimberly Sue Carroll; sons, Dennis Carroll, Jeff (Megan) Collinsworth, Michael (Krystal) Collinsworth, Dustin Collinsworth & Adam Collinsworth; sisters, Gail Pratt & Bonnie Carroll-Cunningham; brother-in-law, Greg Orona Sr.; grandchildren, Austin, Bobbie Sue, Ethan Alan, Austin, Lydia, Andrew, Abigayle, Nathan, Haylee, Brayden, Hunter, Alyssa, Millie, Dylan, Dominic & Chasity; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends, and his beloved dog, Snoopy (Daddy’s boy). He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Carroll; parents; and sister, Christina Lucas.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:30 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd at Bonita Dr., Middletown. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Franklin VFW Post #7596 Honor Guard.
