Mertie Trimble, 83, of Middletown, died Thursday, November 24, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on November 13, 1922 to parents Robert and Prudie Otis.

Mrs. Trimble owned and operated Trimble´s Market for over 30 years.

Mertie is survived by one daughter, Patricia Ann Trimble McIntosh of Middletown; a granddaughter, Misti (Tony) Ottaiano of Lexington, KY; grandson, Mark (Jen) McIntosh of Wichita, KS; great granddaughter, Madison McIntosh of Wichita, KS; and her sister, Gladys Lovely of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Trimble; her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; a brother-in-law; and son-in-law, Donald McIntosh.


Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2005 at 12:30 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Deacon Tim Wright officiating. Visitation will be Monday, prior to the service, from 11-12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420-1885.
