Mervin E. Robertson, 94, of Franklin Township, said goodbye to this world on Sunday, August 13, 2017, to be with his loving savior Jesus Christ. He was born in Quicksand, Kentucky on April 1, 1923 to parents George France and Callie (Gabbard) Robertson.
Mervin had worked for Armco Steel Corporation in the Coke Oven operations. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Lincoln Lodge #693 F. & A.M.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Kyla (Ely) Robertson; daughters, Yvonne (Ken) Craycraft & Diane (Ben) Solem; step daughters, Vicky (Stephen) Rains & Eva (David) Cole; grandchildren, Amie (Steve) Daudt, Susan Craycraft, Stacie Solem, Allison Solem, Sara Craycraft & Carrie (Darrin) Coe; step grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Hitte & Sarah Rains; great grandchild, Ava; and step great grandchild, Jameson; and many more loving family & friends. He loved all of his special friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Robertson; parents; brothers, Herbert, Hagar, Granville, Chester, Ival, James & I.H.; and sister, Leura Cook.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with Masonic Service at 6:45 pm.
