Michael Carl Fleming

Michael Carl Fleming, 57, of Middletown, went to be with the Lord, on April 19, 2006, surrounded by loving family. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 7, 1949 to parents Carl and Carroll (Miller) Fleming.

Michael graduated from Monroe High School in 1967 and went on to graduate from Ohio University in 1971. He worked as a construction superintendent for G.C. Construction of Lebanon. He was a member of Solid Rock Church, and some of his many interests included archery, assisting with the Middletown High School Marching Band, NASCAR, and being a furniture craftsman.

Michael was preceded in death by Carl & Carroll Fleming; and father, Dr. James M. Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Vicki (Akers) Fleming; two daughters, Megan (Michael) Moyer and Michele Fleming, both of Middletown; his mother, Bertha Anderson of Monroe; a sister, Ellen Anderson Smith of Colorado; brothers James M. Anderson II of Hawaii, Richard M. Anderson of Colorado, and David K. Anderson of Columbus; and several nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Solid Rock Church with Pastor Darlene Bishop officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church.
