Michael Ray Kowanick, 24, of Monroe, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at home. He was born in Middletown on March 13, 1988 to parents John and Marla (Retherford) Kowanick.
Michael graduated from Monroe High School in 2006 and currently worked for Domino's Pizza in West Chester.
In addition to his parents Michael is survived by his grandmother, Agnes Retherford; aunts & uncles, Teresa (Steve) Burr, Charlotte (Harold) Phipps, Lanny (Donna) Whitson, Carol (Joe) Rich & Linda Kowanick; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Michael & Olga Kowanick and maternal grandfather, Raymond Retherford.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with officiating minister Jim Kinser and Dallas Retherford from Crosspointe Church of Christ. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery.
