Mike "Mario" Lemieux

Mike "Mario" LeMieux, 71, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. He was born in Springville, New York on February 8, 1951 to parents, Lorne and Luella (Kendall) LeMieux.

Mike had worked as a pipe fitter for AK Steel, retiring in 2013 after 24 years with the company. He was a big sports fan, especially the Reds, Bengals & Blue Jackets. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, traveling, working in the yard and was an awesome air guitar player.

Mike loved his grandkids and family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Christy (Singleton) LeMieux; children, Michelle Huff, Sean LeMieux, Jamy Hurr & Michael Hurr; brothers, Kendall (Jackie) LeMieux & Lorne (Robin) LeMieux; grandchildren, Zachary Huff, Christian LeMieux & R.J. Morningstar; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lianne Schneider.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Berachah Church, 1900 Johns Rd, Middletown. Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the church with Pastor Lamar Farrell officiating.
