Mike Sivak

Francis Michael "Mike" Sivak Sr., 86, of Middletown, died Friday, May 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Lexington Park, Maryland on June 16, 1928 to parents Paul and Pauline (Lukac) Sivak.

Mike worked as an operator for Beacon Blacktop for 20 years. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Crosspointe Church of Christ where he served as an Elder. He was very active with the Midwestern Children's Home where he served as chairman of their Golf Tournament for 20 years. Mike was active in the Middletown community and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Mr. Sivak is survived by his wife, Elaine (Coldiron) Sivak; sons, Michael (Terri) Sivak, Jr., David (Brenda) Sivak & Steve (Jennifer) Sivak; daughters, Theresa (Kenny) Bowen, Paulette (Larry) Reid & Elaine (Joseph) Kinnard; sisters, Sister Mary Augistine & Cookie (Paul) Hoffman; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John, Albert & Paul Sivak.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crosspointe Church of Christ, 5630 State Route 122, Franklin with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
