Phillips, Mildred C.

Mildred C. Phillips, 87, of Middletown, died Thursday, January 19, 2006, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Winchester, Ohio on August 22, 1918 to parents Thomas and Rose Etta (Ellis) Pickerell.

Mildred is survived by two sons, Barry (Betsy) Russello of Dayton and David Shane Phillips of St. Cloud, MN; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Babs Braun of Green Bay, WI; granddaughter, Brigitte (Patrick) Smith; two great grandchildren, Carson & Cole Smith; and many friends at Trinity Manor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Irvin Pickerell and Carl Pickerell; and sisters, Marie Hartman and Gerry Waara.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Middletown Regional Hospital and Garden Manor for their special care.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 23, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Reverend Nolan Phillips officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer´s Association/Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
