Minnie Lucille Wills, 87, of Middletown, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Shelby County, Kentucky on July 4, 1927 to parents Claude C. and Lucy M. (Roe) Wills.
Minnie had taught at West Carrollton High School and then at Olivet Nazarene University where she was the chairman of the Modern Language Department. She retired from Olivet Nazarene University and was awarded Honorary Doctorate of Letters. She had studied in Argentina, Spain and Costa Rica.
Minnie was beloved aunt to all her nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hazel Frisch, Margaret Henderson, Dorothy Cornett & Nancy Dougherty; and brother, Edward Jewell Wills.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor David O'Toole officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery.
