Mollie E. Barnes

Mollie E. Barnes, 84, of Middletown, died on September 22, 2008, at Vitas Hospice in Dayton. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on April 13, 1924 to parents Mack and Arizona (Conley) Gullett. Mrs. Barnes was a cook at Liberty and Lakota Schools and also at Aeronca. She was a member of Monroe Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons: Jed (Sylvia) Combs of Trenton, Haskell (Barbara) Combs of Morristown, FL and Bronlee (Joanne) Combs of Flowery Branch, GA; 8 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Woodrow Combs, her daughter, Deborah K. Blankenship, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Brazleton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
