Mona Mcdaniel

Mona (Bowling) McDaniel, 55, of Middletown, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on May 6, 1952 to parents Elisha and Nancy (Gabbard) Bowling.

Mona worked as a waitress for Frisch's Restaurant and was a member of Dixie Highway Christian Center.

Mona is survived by her husband, Hubert McDaniel; a daughter, Donna (Woodie) Cope; a son, Tracy McDaniel; six sisters, Barbara Givens, Dosha Bowling, Sarah Goodman, Lola Baker, Mary Bishop, and Alice Tipton; seven brothers, Paul Bowling, Bobby Bryant, William Bryant, Ronnie Bowling, Elisha Bowling Jr., Andy Bowling, and Roy Bowling; and four grandchildren, Daniel Byrd, Jacob Byrd, Laci Maria Cope, and Johnathon Hubert James Cope.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Gaeke and Kim, and to Mona's home healthcare nurse, Cindy Rae for their care during this time.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Dave Bowling officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
