Monroe F. Brown

Monroe F. Brown, 90, of Bedford, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Ky. He was born in Esserville, Virginia on August 4, 1925 to parents Mack and Viola (Wagner) Brown.

Monroe had worked for Howard Paper Mill for 22 years, retiring in 1988. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Patsy (Taulbee) Brown; five children, Robert "Moe" Brown, Teresa (Jerry Mobley) Perkins, Rosemary (Roger) Moore, Lora (Allan) Rose & Ambers "Amb" (Pam) Brown; sister, Oney Roberts; brother, Troy Brown; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of relatives & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Evelyn Sexton Adams, Doris Sexton & Ruth Collins; and brothers, Alfred Brown & Holbert Brown.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Russell Caudill officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
