Nancy B. Cahill

Nancy B. Cahill, 40, of Monroe, Ohio, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Cahill was born to Donald and Marilyn (Schulte) Maley on March 15, 1963.

Nancy was a 1985 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in nursing. After graduation she worked at the Cincinnati Veteran’s Administration Hospital for nineteen years. She was active in her community, working with the PTA and coaching softball and soccer.

Mrs. Cahill is survived by her husband, Steve Cahill and two daughters, Elizabeth and Julia of Monroe; her parents, Donald and Marilyn Maley of Elsmere, KY; one sister, Donna (Tom) Sinclair of Edgewood, KY; two brothers, Pat (Marilyn) Maley of Florence, KY and Jay (Colleen) Maley of Southgate KY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Monroe with Father Terry Meehan celebrating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2004 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Drive. Interment is at Mound Cemetery in Monroe.
