Nellavene Roe

Nellavene Roe, 77, of Monroe, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. She was born in Bonney, Kentucky on May 24, 1936 to parents William and Oney (McGuire) Henry.

Mrs. Roe is survived by her son, Rodney W. (Melissa) Roe; daughters, Deborah (David) Oakley & Marsha (Doug) Daniels; brothers, Woodford Henry & Asa Henry; sisters, Maxine Harbaum, Pauline Helton, Helen Martin, Betty Hodson & Phyllis Hayes; grandchildren, Matt (Alexandria) Oakley, Mark, Josh, Elisabeth & Leah Oakley, Doug, Courtney, A.J. & Jacob Daniels, Sarah (Norm) Richer-LeFebvre, Traci, Adam, Paige & Caleb Roe; and a good faithful friend, Ruth Wells.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Roe in 2001; son, Jesse V. Roe in 2012; parents; and brothers, Milford Henry & Bill Henry.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Rodney W. Roe officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
