Norman Ray Vincent, 79, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at home. He was born in Central City, Kentucky on June 23, 1938 to parents Raymond and Delores (O'Sullivant) Vincent. He married Lois (Spicer) Vincent on July 30, 1960 and they shared 57 years together.
Norm retired from Armco Steel Corp in 2002, after 36 years with the company. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God, member of the Masonic Lodge in Middletown, served as president of Knothole Baseball in Middletown, president of Armco Association, was a member of ODD Fellows and coached his son's baseball teams.
Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife, Lois Vincent; sons, Kevin Vincent & Greg (Angie) Vincent; brothers, Garmon (Gennie), RW (Gayle) & Darrell; sister, Phyllis; grandchildren, Elijah, Katie, Kaitlyn, Caleb & James; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Pastor Mark Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
