Ollie H. Lindon, Jr., 67, of Monroe, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Belknap, Kentucky on March 18, 1945 to parents Ollie H. Sr. and Bertha (Centers) Lindon.
Ollie retired as Director of Wooden Roller Coaster Maintenance for Kings Island / CBS Corp. in 2006 after 29 ½ years. He served his country in the United States Army and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Ollie was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lee City, Kentucky and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Mr. Lindon is survived by his wife, Paula (Oprea) Lindon; children, Brent (April) Lindon, Karen Roose & Michael Roose; brother, Benjamin (Sue) Lindon; sisters, Lillian Olean Vance, Mary Ann (Howard) Wilson & Lavern Stevens; and three grandchildren, Cassandra Lindon, Aiden Lindon & Dylan Lindon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Reece Lindon & Gary Lindon; and sister, Dorothy Bailey.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Terry Meehan officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
