Opal M. Felts

Opal M. Felts, 89, of Franklin, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on June 3, 1915 to parents James Calvin and Rachel Elizabeth (Reed) Sparks.

Mrs. Felts is survived by one daughter, Barbara Fay (James) Curtis of Germantown; two sons, Jack R. (Ethelene) Felts of Trenton and Gary W. Felts of Lexington, KY; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Felts in 1993; her parents; a son, William J. Felts; and a daughter, Della Delores Felts.

Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Chaplain Jackie Ward officiating. Entombment will be at Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
