Oveda Finkbone

Oveda Finkbone, 96, of Madison Township, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on August 26, 1913 to parents Overton and Esther (Sellers) McKee.

Oveda was a charter member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Finkbone is survived by her niece, Cheryl Ann (James) Ratliff; great nephews, Jim & Scott Ratliff; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Tobias Finkbone in 1973; her parents; sisters, Mildred Moon, Magdalene Emerick, Beulah Long and Kathryn Vilvens; and brothers, William O. McKee, Thomas McKee and James McKee

Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 10 North Breiel Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Dr. David Moreland officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
