Owen Lykins

Owen Lykins, 88, of Trenton, died Thursday January 11, 2007. He was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on April 21, 1918 to parents James and Molly (Tincher) Lykins.

Owen worked as a maintenance supervisor for Liebel Flarsheim for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He attended Middletown Church of Christ.

Mr. Lykins is survived by his wife, Edith (Blackwell) Lykins; two daughters, Barbara (Pat) Henry of Ocala, FL and Peggy (David) Stidham of Trenton; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Norvell Lykins and Ernest Lykins.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 15, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Minister David Stidham officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am -12:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
