Pasquale "Pat" E. Scorti Jr.

Pasquale E. "Pat" Scorti, Jr., 78, of Middletown, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 13, 1937 to parents Pasquale E. and Catherine (Madaffari) Scorti Sr.

Pat was previously a manager for Checker's Stores for 17 years and later worked at Sloan's Market for more than 30 years retiring in 2006. He was a graduate of Fenwick High School and a member of Holy Family Parish. Pat volunteered many hours at Mt. Pleasant, loved watching sports and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Pat served his country in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Scorti is survived by his sons, Keith Scorti and Bob Scorti; daughter, Beth (Jeff) Poteet; brothers, Paul (JoAnn) Scorti and Mike (Kim) Scorti; sisters, Mary Wellinghoff, Theresa Muthert, and Frances Jones and grandson, Nick (Samantha) Maxey; granddaughter, Chelsey Newcomb; great grandchildren, Matthew, Levi, Elaina, Cameron, and Peyton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and sister, brother, Eugene Scorti; sisters, Angeline Scorti, and Anna Scorti and granddaughter, Gennifer Maxey.

Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
