Pasqualina M. (Scarpa) Turner, 62, of Middletown, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on February 22, 1952 to parents Carl J. and Rose (Rossi) Scarpa.
Pasqualina was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1970. She worked in the banking industry for over 27 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Ladies Society of Holy Family, Women's Auxiliary of Italian Americans Society and Frank D. Vitori Lodge Sons of Italy. Pasqualina spent many hours making rosarys for missionaries. She took great pride in cooking for family & friends and loved Dean Martin music.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her brother, Joseph A. Scarpa; sister, Roberta (Ray) Moore; nephews, Raymond J. Moore & Scottie Rupp; and nieces, Angela (Derek) Fox & Victoria Rupp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Turner in 1996; parents; and sister, Carla Jo Scarpa.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
