Pat Collie Jr.

Pat Collie, Jr., 87, of Middletown, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 13, 1923 to parents Pascal Sr. and Christine Marie (Scott) Collie.

Pat worked as a firefighter at Armco Steel Corp. for 28 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God.

Mr. Collie is survived by his wife, Elba (Moore) Collie; sons, James (Carol) Collie & Mike (Alberta) Collie; daughters, Patricia Ann (Patrick) Loeb & Deborah Carolyn Collie; brothers, Bobby Dale Collie & Jim Collie; sister, Peggy Ann Self; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Louise Lemons, Dorothy Phillips, Patsy Marie Sutton, Opal Lois Collie & Doris Jean Walls; & brothers, Mike Hugh Collie, Don Paul Collie & Frank Howard Collie.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
