Patricia Byrne, 68, of Madison Twp. died Saturday August 20, 2005 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Cincinnati on March 16, 1937 to parents Joe and Julia (Barnhorst) Shumard.
Pat graduated from Fenwick High School in 1955, where she was the Prom Queen in 1955. She was the Assistant Warren County Common Pleas Administrator and the secretary for Common Pleas Judge Daniel L. Fedders. Pat’s main calling in life was to be a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Patricia is survived by her husband Tom of Madison Twp., son Thomas “TAB” (Sabrina) Byrne of Springboro, son Joseph (Cristine) Byrne of Bridgewater, NJ. daughter Cathi Kennard of Franklin, and son Jay (Amy) Byrne of Springboro, brother Ray (Millie) Shumard of Sarasota, FL, and Eight Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Shumard, sisters Donna Walls, Betty Hotarick, Rita Hasselbach, and two grandchildren, Allison and Rita Kennard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday August 24, 2005 at 10AM at Holy Family Parish-St. John’s Church with Fr. Tom Shearer as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday August 23, 2005 from 5-8 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (At Bonita Dr.). Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
