Patricia Louise Mendenhall

Patricia Louise Mendenhall, 81, of Middletown, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born in Hamilton on March 17, 1928 to parents Louis Frank and Mary Magdeline (Laubach) Jones.

Patricia was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1946 and married Lee Mendenhall that same year. She worked in customer service at First National Bank for 26 years, retiring in 1988. She was a Girl Scout leader, was active in Volkswalks for many years and was a member of the Armco Stars Square Dancing and Round Dancing.

Mrs. Mendenhall is survived by her husband, Lee Mendenhall; daughter, Patricia Lee Mendenhall; sister, Carol S. Jones; three grandchildren, Heather Houck, Ben Houck and Michael Ronto; five great grandchildren, Callee Augustus, Michael Gomes, Cady Houck, Charlie Houck and Ella Houck; and multiple cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Lynn Mendenhall.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Dave Kepple officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
