Patricia A. Wildermuth

Patricia Ann "Pat" Wildermuth, 78, formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on March 3, 1945 to parents, Lee W. and Marie J. (Hinegardner) Wildermuth, both of whom preceded her in death.

Pat graduated from Carlisle High School in 1963, where she had been an award winning baton twirler and majorette with the Carlisle Marching Band. She began working in the offices of Armco Steel at the age of 18 and then moved to the Armco Credit Union, now known as MyUSA Credit Union, and retired with over 50 years of service. Pat always wore a big, inviting smile and genuinely cared about all those around her. Always artistic, painting became her passion and she has completed hundreds of paintings. She also wrote a children's book. Pat loved her church family. She had attended the New Jersey Presbyterian Church in Carlisle since childhood, offering her assistance as a Board member and in any other way she could, including teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Pat loved laughter (and chocolate) and brought joy to those around her. Always self-effacing, she seemed to never think she was as wonderful as she was. She was a bright light whose death has made the world a bit dimmer to all those who knew and loved her.

Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest love and joy and she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Angel Clark; sons, Jim Morris & Chris Morris; sisters, Reta Gundlach, Betty Bray & Kay Locke; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle Community Church, 780 Fairview Dr., Carlisle, with Pastor Nancy Dumford officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at New Jersey Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to: Carlisle Community Church at 780 Fairview Drive, Carlisle, OH 45005.
