Paul D. Orth

Paul D. Orth, 79, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his home. He was born in Middletown on January 7, 1932 to parents Emrick and Mary (Osust) Orth.

Paul retired from AK Steel after 43 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Orth is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole (Sedge) Orth; daughter, Jane Orth of Middletown; son, Dr. James (Margie) Orth of Meyersdale, PA; two grandsons, Dalton & Austin Orth; brother, Joe (Bebe) Orth; sisters, Phyllis (Jack) Downey & Ann Lehman; sisters-in-law, Frances Sedge & Shirley Orth; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henry & John Orth; and sister, Mary LaRock.

Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille officiating.
