Wright, Paul G. 80, of Franklin, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Falmouth, Kentucky on September 21, 1936 to parents Otis Donald and Mildred (Cummins) Wright. Paul loved his job as truck driver and worked for Wilson Freight and Super Food and retired in 1998. He was a member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church and was a part of a unique Sunday School Class. Paul never met a stranger. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Susan D. (Carr) Wright; son, Kenneth Wright; daughter, Pamela Wright; step son, Scott (Kim) Downs; step daughter, Kristen Downs; sister, Ann (Rev. Robert) Instine; sister-in-law, Anne Wright; special nephew, Dr. Mack Wright; grandchildren, Eric (Sarah) Downs, Brandon (Chelsea) Downs and Tiffanie Downs; great grandchild, Benjamin Downs. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jerry Wright and Joey Wright; sister, Patty Wrapp. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Monroe Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Elm Street, Monroe with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 pm. Inurnment will be at the family's convenience at Jenkins Chapel Cemetery.
