Paula Wise

Paula J. Wise, 75, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Middletown on January 26, 1948 to parents, Robert and Inez (Quillen) Berry.

Paula had such a bright spirit that lit up the room and she would go above and beyond to help people, which helped her excel in her career as a customer service representative for Ryan Homes. She loved going to the YMCA, cooking, writing poetry and spending time outdoors, whether walking, fishing or gardening. She especially enjoyed traveling, spending time on the beach and her dog, Sully and her grand-dogs.

Above all Paula loved her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, Michael E. "Mickey" Wise; children, Wendi (Chris) Saylor & John (Colleen) Wolfe; brother, Rick (Chris) Berry; sister, Robin Sue Pieratt; grandchildren, Amanda (Brett) Baker, Brittany Wolfe & Travis Wolfe; great grandchildren, Keegan Baker & Charlie Baker; and many nieces & nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wolfe; brothers, Jack Berry & Bob Berry; and sisters, Patricia Hickman & Beverly Robinson.

As Paula wished, there will be no services.
