Pauline Whisman, 89, of Middletown, passed away Saturday August, 14, 2004 at the Gables at Middletown.
She is the widow of the late Fred Whisman (owner of Fred Whisman Construction Company) and married to for 58 years. She was a member of the Breiel Boulevard Church of God and the Keenagers club for Seniors at the church.
There are no words to express our love and gratitude for the staff at Gables at Middletown and for their wonderful love and care they gave our mom over the four months she was there, you all are truly angels. Hospice of Dayton gave her the same love and care, the family was so blessed to have these great people care for our mother.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Elic (Bessie) Tankersley; sisters Opal Tankersley and Alice Hubbard; a son-in-law Willie Hause; brothers Loyde, Clyde, and Oral Tankersley, Oral was killed in WWII in the South Pacific.
She is survived by her two daughters, Nelda (Rod) Adkins of Middletown, Loretta aka Skip Hause of Franklin; four grandsons, Danny (Marcie) Hause of Oregonia, Gregory(Paula) Hause of Franklin, Tim(Irina) of Westerville, and Mark(Teddra) Adkins of Middletown; Great-Grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Vanessa, Emily, Katie, Markay, and Bryce; and Step-Great-Grandchildren Anostasia, Brooke, and Daniel.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Dick Casey officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17, 2004, from 6-8PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Internment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
